Team Accountant


Team accountants are given a wide variety of diversified accounting and tax assignments under the supervision of different professionals.  Responsibilities include recording transactions, preparing trial balances and simple financial statements, reconciling bank accounts and tracing discrepancies, preparing tax returns and routine correspondence to taxing authorities, and performing schedule computations of accruals, property and equipment along with calculating depreciation expense.  A bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or equivalent experience, well-rounded knowledge of accounting principles and personal income taxes, proficiency with computers, speadsheet software programs and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely are among the qualifications for this position.

 

Tax Preparer


Tax preparers are responsible for organizing and coordinating clients' tax data for the accurate and timely completion of individual tax returns and simple to moderately complex corporate, partnership, S-Corp. and trust tax returns.  Responsibilities include reviewing tax information for completeness and preparing tax returns using tax preparation software.  Knowledge of tax regulations, at least two years' experience preparing tax returns and at least one year's experience using computerized tax preparation, tax planning and tax research software are among the qualifications for this position.

 

Payroll Administrator


The payroll administrator performs all contact functions of checkwriter payroll and assists with general administrative work.  The payroll administrator also compiles quarterly payroll reports and assists with accounts payable for clients.  Two years' general clerical experience, typing skills of 60 words per minute and strong verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills are among the qualifications for this position.

 

Administrative Assistant


The administrative assistant assists the firm administrator with the management of the firm and is responsible for specialized projects and assignments.  This includes preparing the firm's accounts receivable monthly statements and overseeing maintenance of time and billing.  Typing skills of 60 words per minute, the ability to use all general office equipment including a computer and the ability to communicate clearly are among the qualifications for this position.
